Living in Egypt is never dull!… there's loads of interesting people to meet and there is so, so much to see. Of course, there's the history, but then there's the natural wonders (Sinai desert and Siwa town in the Sahara to name a couple), ... For sports enthusiasts, there's plenty of top quality golf courses, wind and kite surfing and we now have the Pyramids Marathon!

Egypt is not just a place where BISC gives me a challenging, enjoyable and secure job, it's a country that I can never feel bored in. I love spending holidays travelling around as you have breath-taking beaches and there's no need to travel to a different country! Apart from that, there is all that fascinating history, which can be seen in almost every part you visit.

I have only picked up an iron once or twice since I arrived the ironing services are so good and so cheap. My husband's shirts come back in the packets with a cardboard bow tie in the wrapper like new. Happy days.

Egypt is full of character, with people who match the character of the country itself. There's opportunities to dive, snorkel in beautiful reefs, camp in a desert oasis, bathe in hot springs, swim in salt lakes, and of course, explore the innumerable historical sites...the list is endless! For the avid adventurer and traveller, it's a great place to be!

Living in Egypt is in turns fabulous and infuriating but never boring. You meet the most interesting and engaging people and can travel to places that many only dream of. Don't come here if you want to coast, unchallenged but if you want to live more in the moment in a country with an amazingly rich and diverse history, then Egypt is the place for you.

We feel safe and happy every single day. I have more time for my children than I would ever of had in the UK. The beaches are amazing and the children love the history.
