We seek to help our wider communities to which we have social and moral responsibilities. This happens through charitable giving and through the community activities we support. Community involvement in school life makes for a closer partnership in the realisation of our common aims.

Our Staff
Great teachers make a difference to children's lives. They make them feel secure and happy at school, they inspire them to learn, and our teachers get involved in all sorts of events and activities. BISC teachers are educated to a high standard; most specialists hold higher degrees or are members of professional institutes. All have professional teaching qualifications and are screened for safeguarding purposes.
Whole School Senior Leadership Team
Principal Mrs. Oldfield is a History graduate of the University of London, with published work in research and curriculum projects in the UK. She has qualifications in Headship and Educational Management from the National College for Leadership of Schools and was appointed as an Educational Management Consultant for them internationally. She has a long career in education, holding senior leadership positions, and headships in the UK and at British International Schools across Asia. |

head of foundation stage Ms Cashman holds a degree and PGCE from the University of Roehampton, and a Master's Degree in Early Years Education. She has taught at BISC for 15 years, and has also worked in London and the UAE. |
head of junior school Mr. Egan has an Honours degree and Master’s in Educational Leadership and Management. He has worked in education for over 25 years, most recently as the Headmaster of an Preparatory School in England. Internationally, he has also taught in South Africa, and he is a Safeguarding Governor and an ISI Inspector. |
Head of senior school Ms Arabas holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Nottingham University and an Honours Degree in Applied Linguistics. She has worked in education for over 25 years in the UK and internationally, most recently as a Director of Teaching and Learning in Thailand. She is an accredited NPQ facilitator, and a Fellow in Chartered College and Teaching in the UK. |
deputy Head of Senior school (ACAdemic) Ms Fuschillo holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Portsmouth University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester. She has taught at BISC for 14 years. |
Deputy Head of senior school (PASTORAL) Ms. Wellington has an Honours Degree in Education and has taught children from the ages of 4 to 18, though very much specialising in the Senior School. Much of her career has been spent at BISC and she is proud to have seen hundreds of ex-pupils - and their children - successfully graduate from the school. |
deputy HEAD OF JUNIOR school Ms Paget holds a degree in Business Studies from The Open University, with a PGCE and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Bath. She has taught at BISC for the last 12 years. |
