​Great teachers make a difference to children's lives. They make them feel secure and happy at school, they inspire them to learn, and our teachers get involved in all sorts of events and activities. BISC teachers are educated to a high standard; most specialists hold higher degrees or are members of professional institutes. All have professional teaching qualifications and are screened for safeguarding purposes.

PRINCIPAL

Mr Hansen, holds a degree from the City of London, and an MBA. A British educator with senior leadership experience in prestigious schools across Kuwait, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, he brings a proven record of academic excellence and school improvement.

He holds extensive expertise in inspections, strategic planning and staff development. 

Mr R. Young

HEAD OF TEACHING & LEARNING

Mr Young holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester and an NPQLTD from Best Practice Network.

He had taught at BISC in 2011, for ten years, and is returning after teaching for four years in Jeddah.

Ms M. Cashman

​Ms Cashman holds a  degree and PGCE from the University of Roehampton, and a Master's Degree in Early Years Education.

​She has taught at BISC for over 15 years, and has also worked in London and the UAE.

Ms K. Faraz

​HEAD OF JUNIOR school

Ms Faraz holds a degree in History and QTS from Leeds Trinity & All Saints University College of Leeds, and an NPQLTD from Best Practice Network.
She taught in the UK for 17 years before coming to Egypt. Ms Faraz has taught at BISC for four years.

Ms S. Fuschillo

​Head of Senior school

Ms Fuschillo holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Portsmouth University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester. She has taught at BISC for 14 years.

Mrs N. Bukhari

DEPUTY HEAD OF JUNIOR school (Pastoral)

Ms Bukhari holds a degree in Biomedical Science from Kingston University in London. She completed a Graduate Teacher Programme in Birmingham and is currently undertaking an  MSc Child and Youth Care with Strathclyde University. She has taught at BISC for twelve years.
