Community involvement in school life makes for a closer partnership in the realisation of our common aims.

Our Staff
Great teachers make a difference to children's lives. They make them feel secure and happy at school, they inspire them to learn, and our teachers get involved in all sorts of events and activities. BISC teachers are educated to a high standard; most specialists hold higher degrees or are members of professional institutes. All have professional teaching qualifications and are screened for safeguarding purposes.

head of foundation stage Ms Cashman holds a degree and PGCE from the University of Roehampton, and a Master's Degree in Early Years Education. She has taught at BISC for 15 years, and has also worked in London and the UAE. |

DEPUTY HEAD OF JUNIOR school (Pastoral) Ms Bukhari holds a degree in Biomedical Science from Kingston University in London. She completed a Graduate Teacher Programme in Birmingham and is currently undertaking an MSc Child and Youth Care with Strathclyde University. She has taught at BISC for twelve years. |
Deputy Head of senior school (PASTORAL) Ms. Wellington has an Honours Degree in Education and has taught children from the ages of 4 to 18, though very much specialising in the Senior School. Much of her career has been spent at BISC and she is proud to have seen hundreds of ex-pupils - and their children - successfully graduate from the school. |
DEPUTY HEAD OF JUNIOR school (academic) Ms Faraz holds a degree in History and QTS from Leeds Trinity & All Saints University College of Leeds, and an NPQLTD from Best Practice Network. She taught in the UK for 17 years before coming to Egypt. Ms Faraz has taught at BISC for four years. |
DEPUTY HEAD OF SENIOR SCHOOL (ACADEMIC) Ms. Turner is an experienced educator with leadership qualifications from Best Practice Network. She holds a degree in History and Sociology and has taught at BISC for three years. |
