Careers Guidance
The School has a strong careers guidance programme supported by one-to-one careers counselling as part of our pastoral programmes. Upon graduation most of our students will enter one of the leading universities in the world, a wonderful way of ending their days at school.
BridgeU is a university and careers guidance platform that our students can use to research and apply to university destinations worldwide. Students can create a profile within BridgeU, explore university matches tailored to their personal preferences and build their entire university application within the platform. BridgeU helps our students to focus and organise their university research, and ensures that they stay on top of important deadlines in the university application process.

Newton Education Services offer a well-designed SAT preparation course that helps students improve their scores, which in turn facilitates their admission to undergraduate programs anywhere in the world. Newton’s SAT curriculum was developed in Boston, MA, and they have a strong six-year track-record of superb results. The course is taught by well-trained teachers, maintaining a low teacher-to-student ratio to allow for personalised attention to every student, giving them constant feedback and customised learning support.

pas-sport is an online service to help connect young athletes with college coaches in the United States to get sports scholarships. It's the first service that helps athletes in the MENA region receive sports scholarships to pursue their studies and athletics in universities in the States. We educate them on, prepare them for, and help them navigate the recruiting process all on one convenient platform.

The SPW Careers team are all experienced and fully qualified Careers Advisers, who are members of both the Careers Development Institute professional register (UK) and the International Association for College Admissions Counselling (USA), with extensive experience of supporting international students.
In supporting the careers/university support offered in school, SPW Careers Ltd. visit the school and work with students directly. They offer an interests and careers psychometric profile and one-one in school guidance interviews and also run group-work sessions. |
The Apply Group (TAG) run www.applyformedicine.com which the world’s first student-led, applicant-focussed peer mentoring platform designed for prospective medical applicants. Connect with medical students currently studying medicine in the UK and around the world. This platform enables students, schools and parents to connect with students at university who have already completed their application journey. This gives them a special insight into what a particular course, university or even career is like before applicants start their journey, an insight they would not otherwise get from fairs, open days or talking to university admission staff. Mentors are studying at medical schools around the world and are experienced in a range of cultures and languages, for example: Study medicine in the UK Students, schools and parents are free to register and communicate directly with mentors and can even make an application direct to their medical school. |
