The British International School, Cairo (BISC) is seeking a qualified Teacher of English to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English that meet the requirements of the IGCSE curriculum.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students’ development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to departmental activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and reports.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (minimum requirement).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience at secondary/high school level.
- Strong knowledge of the UK IGCSE English curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
