We are currently seeking an experienced Teacher of Drama to join our Performing Arts department. This position involves teaching Drama and Theatre Studies at the High/Secondary School level. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons that promote artistic expression and an understanding of theatre arts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Education or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in Drama or Theatre Studies
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for secondary education
- Ability to plan and deliver creative drama lessons that engage diverse learners
- Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on student development
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience directing school productions or extracurricular drama activities is desirable
