Junior and Senior School Entrance Exams

In the Junior School, at KS2 the prospective pupils will undertake a Maths, English and non-verbal reasoning test.

In the Senior School, prospective pupils will take Maths, English and CAT tests (Cognitive Abilities Test).

If your child is overseas in a British school in the UK or at a similar school overseas, he/she can sit the entrance test at his/her current school. To ensure that the tests are undertaken in the appropriate examination conditions, prospective parents are asked to raise this issue with the Admissions Officer, Ms. Amanee Markos on admissions@bisc.edu.eg. or by telephoning the school.
BISC then contacts the existing school to ensure that they are able and willing to provide this facility. Your child's current school must provide written confirmation that they agree to supervise the entrance tests. This facility is an excellent way of speeding up the application process and parents and their children have found it most helpful in the past. However, to ensure that the system is secure, the school does reserve the right to ask prospective pupils to sit their entrance tests under the necessary conditions at BISC, on arrival in Cairo.
