Science Week in the Primary School: May 15 th-19 th 2005
Investigations at very level took place across the Key Stages in the Primary School as well as at Foundation Stage. Pupils aged 3 and 4 learned about ‘smelling’ and ‘tasting’, ‘bubbles’ and ‘windmills’. In Key Stage One pupils reported that: ‘In science week I made an exploding bottle. First I made a hole in the top of the lid and then I put vinegar and powder and then it exploded.’ according to Sherif Shehata Y2. ‘I made a t-shirt. My t-shirt is purple. I used elastic bands’ said Agnes Schyberg Y2. Key Stage Two pupils made paper aeroplanes and rockets.
