Sixth Form Learning

The BISC Sixth Form is as a unique part of the school where students follow personalised learning programmes. It is a vibrant and exciting place where significant achievement happens.

Whilst serious academic study lies at its heart, Sixth Form life represents so much more, with the opportunity to develop new skills and get involved in activities, support charitable causes and show real leadership.

The School offers two academic pathways. Most students will elect to pursue the world renowned IB Diploma programme, taking six subjects. A smaller group of students will study for a BTEC in Business, a vocational pathway to university or the world of work.

Whilst academic work is demanding, our students are helped with their challenges by experienced subject specialists and caring tutors. The tutor keeps an overview of progress and supports students in their many hours of need.

The School has a strong careers guidance programme, supported by one-to-one careers counselling and support as part of our pastoral programmes. Upon graduation, most of our students will enter one of the leading universities in the world, representing a wonderful way of ending their days at school.
